Adaeze Yobo slams haters over Joseph Yobo's own goal

This was highly expected because of their Instagram popularity.Adaeze, wife of Super Eagles Captain, Joseph has become the butt of twitter and instagram jokes after her husband accidental goal today.They took out their annoyance on her and not one to back down ,She fired back on instagram.

Common, you guys should cut families of players and coaches some slack.It is irresponsible for fans to blast their families after a game loss.Despite the own goal and some few errors, Yobo was one of the best defender today especially in the first half.

Don Jazzy Put On Blast For Organizing "Doro Mega Hero" Competition

 Firstly, Mavin's 'Dorobucci' hit song was labelled an occultic song, a claim Don Jazzy denied outright. But again, Don Jazzy has been put under the spot light, after he asked for entries for the creative designs of ‘Doro Mega Super Hero’ with a cash prize reward of $3000.

 Creative directors, Tola Alabi, has described the competition as a publicity stunt, which he sees as unethical and exploitative.

According to him, Don Jazzy, instead of spending such money for the so-called competition, could have approached a creative agency or individual to do the job for him.

Here's what he wrote;

Another PR stunt getting off making thousands of artists and designers work without pay. I can imagine how many creatives would get on their macs and pcs to spend endless hours with the hopes of creating 'DORO MEGA SUPER HERO'(whatever that is). Not only is this unethical but very exploitative. 

How do you pick the best out of over a thousand designs? As a matter of fact, how do you effectively pick the best out of over a thousand anything? If Don jazzy has $3000 to spend on developing this excuse of character, why doesn't he approach a creative agency or individual and work them. 

Isn't that how he does his music videos? I wonder why he doesn't make that a competition as well? Simple because music video directors would not waste their time and resources, but unfortunately graphic designers would. Anyway, good luck to the person who 'wins'. For those who take part and have nothing to show but another heavy file to take up your RAM- I warned ya! 

Revealed : Pregant Nollywood Actress Uche Ogbodo Abandoned Her Husband Because He Has Serious Brain Tumor

 Actress Uche Ogbodo recently revealed to the media the troubles in her marriage and claimed that she has been heavily lied to. But this seem not the case, as her husband's father has come out to declare her a liar.

As at the time of this report, Uche Ogbodo’s husband, Ato Ubby(pictured in the hospital below) has been diagnosed with brain tumor. He just did a major surgery to remove the tumor.

 Ato who is currently recovering from brain surgery has been blamed by his friends for making the biggest relationship mistake of his life by falling in love with a Nollywood actress with a long history of gold digging.

Ato’s father, a pastor said he was shocked when he heard Uche’s lies in the media

In his own words;

“We went to her village and paid the bride price and after that she was still bearing her fathers name, I dont know why she didnt change it. If she is saying now that she is not married then she has divorced herself. Marriage is not by force. I am the father of Ato and I am telling you now that what she told you is a lie.

I am a servant of God and I cannot tell lies, if she is saying that “she is not married that means she has rejected us. if she has problems with my son this is the wrong way to go about it but we leave it all to God. I am a veteran Journalist, thank you for balancing this story by calling us because we were shocked when people started calling us to say Uche has denied marrying our son.”

Uche is currently in the United States of America for Ato’s baby delivery.

Nollywood Stars shun The Premier of Foluke Daramola’s new movie 'Cobweb'

According to NETng, Nollywood Colleagues of actress, Foluke Daramola, were absent at the premiere of her new movie, Cobweb. The event which held on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at the Silverbird Cinemas, Ikeja had in attendance friends and fans of the actress but only a few of her colleagues, including Ayo Adesanya, Toyin Aimakhu-Johnson and her husband, Adeniyi Johnson.

The movie, Cobweb is directed by Toka Mcbaror and stars Uti Nwachukwu, Funsho Adeolu, Dele Odule, Saheed Balogun, and Tamara Eteimo, all of whom were conspicuously absent. 

It tells the story of a young boy, Sam, gifted with a good voice but whose father wants to become a scientist. The twist and turn of events led to the separation of the family and Sam grows to become a popular singer-cum actor.

Atleast, the actors and actress of the movie should have turned up.

Now we know where Nicki gets her beauty from. Superstar rapper Nicki Minaj‘s mother, Carol Maraj, says prayer and her strong Christian faith are the keys to Queens, N.Y. born Onika Maraj’s success. In an interview with Christianpost Carol said, “I believe by her acknowledging the power of prayer, and her strong desire to tithe together with a praying mother, contributed to her success.” 

My life as a Christian and believer was opened to Onika. As her career continued to thrive, she developed more concerns about life,” Carol told The Christian Post. “The Bible says to train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old would not depart from it,” Carol told CP. “I trust that one day Onika will sing unto the Father, because a seed has already been planted. Nothing is too big to God.” 

Carol plans to pursue a gospel singing career as a platform to spread her message about domestic violence. Both Carol and her daughter are domestic violence survivors. Carol founded The Carol Maraj Foundation to provide encouragement, emotional support, a mobile beauty spa and financial empowerment through various programs. 

“My husband was a drug user, and would usually come home to sleep or steal. Seeking guidance in my life, I went to a revival (church) service with a neighbor who invited me,” Carol revealed. “During service, the preacher made an altar call. My neighbor then turned and whispered, ‘God is waiting for you, Carol. He wants to restore your life.

 Carol has advice for other domestic abuse victims. “I think it is very important for couples to have open communication in their relationships,” she told CP. “In addition to communication, you need to show respect for one another, and include prayers in your daily life. I learned to release every area of my life to the Lord — physical, emotional, social and spiritual. And that is what I think everyone should do to help overcome any issues.”
