Uche claimed that they were never married, read story here According to one of Ato’s friend, Uche broke up with the man because he had brain tumor and she could not bear the fact that she would have to spend money on her husband, seeing that his finances have been drained.

Though Uche claimed she was never married to Ato, his father, a pastor and a veteran journalist, had come out to debunk that claim, saying that his family had actually paid her bride price, automatically making her his son’s wife.

A close friend of Ato has revealed another reason, saying that he and other friends had warned Ato about Uche being a gold digger and that she would dump him anytime things turn bad for him, but that Ato was madly in love with her and would not listen to any of his friends.
Uche Ogbodo’s husband, Ato Ubby “He has seen the other side of a woman we all warned him about. Ato would not listen to us when we told him Uche Ogbodo is a gold digger who would not hesitate to dump him anytime things do not go well with him financially,” the friend said.

“Uche did just as we predicted because when Ato had that brain surgery to remove the tumor, he had spent so much money and when he needed more money and it was required of his wife to take care of some bills, she promptly dumped him, claiming they were never married and that he lied to her,” he added. Ato’s friend doesn’t understand why Uche denied being married to Ato.

“Ato made the biggest relationship mistake of his life by falling in love with a Nollywood actress with a long history of gold digging,” he concluded.

 Actress Uche Ogbodo recently revealed to the media the troubles in her marriage and claimed that she has been heavily lied to. But this seem not the case, as her husband's father has come out to declare her a liar.

As at the time of this report, Uche Ogbodo’s husband, Ato Ubby(pictured in the hospital below) has been diagnosed with brain tumor. He just did a major surgery to remove the tumor.

 Ato who is currently recovering from brain surgery has been blamed by his friends for making the biggest relationship mistake of his life by falling in love with a Nollywood actress with a long history of gold digging.

“We went to her village and paid the bride price and after that she was still bearing her fathers name, I dont know why she didnt change it. If she is saying now that she is not married then she has divorced herself. Marriage is not by force. I am the father of Ato and I am telling you now that what she told you is a lie.

I am a servant of God and I cannot tell lies, if she is saying that “she is not married that means she has rejected us. if she has problems with my son this is the wrong way to go about it but we leave it all to God. I am a veteran Journalist, thank you for balancing this story by calling us because we were shocked when people started calling us to say Uche has denied marrying our son.”

Uche is currently in the United States of America for Ato’s baby delivery.

 Another big drama is currently unfolding in the life of Nollywood actress, Uche Ogbodo, only in this case, it is happening in real life. According  to latest findings, the actress who claimed she was never married has been put on blast by her in-laws who says she was definitely married to their son and already was bearing their name.

 Recall that on thursday June 26, Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo told reporters in exclusive interview that she had ended her engagement to Norway based ex footballer Ato Ubby because of lies that she could no longer deal with, Infact, she said the union was a no win situation. She also claimed it was not a traditional wedding but an introduction ceremony.

The pregnant actress who is presently in America to give birth to her baby was very bitter and says she made the mistake of her life.

The fear of marriage these days is the beginning of wisdom. Heavily pregnant Nollywood actress, Uche Ogbodo  who less than a yer ago was married or engaged to a Norway based ex footballer Ato has confirmed to popular blogger SDK that her marriage which she called an engagement is off.

She finally decided to respond after a few questions and in tears and breathing heavily explained how she made the mistake of her life but is forging on for the sake of her baby.

-Hello Uche,i have a few quick questions for you.I heard your barely a year old marriage has crashed,is this true?

 .. Well that may be true but what isn't true is that it wasn't really marriage yet because it wasn't fully formalised, we were still in the process of formalising it when all hell broke loose, so I was merely Engaged to be married to Ato Ubby.    

-it was just an introduction?why didn’t you clear that impression all this while?

…I just felt there was no need to do so because the wedding plans was to follow shortly,unfortunately it didn’t because things didn’t work out the way it should.i walked into a no-win situation.

-What happened? 

 This is really a hard question to answer, but all I can say Is that barely one month into the Engagement and in the process of planning a formal wedding I realised I had made the greatest mistake of my life.The Foundation of the Union was based On lies and Deceit..shocking lies.we had been dating for a almost year and i thought i knew it all but nothing prepared me for what unfolded.

-Is he married already?

...No,he isnt married to anyone else 

-You got pregnant in the process?

On the verge of trying to salvage the situation I found out I was expecting a child.  I just want to be left alone to take care of my Child. Stella I wasn't married I was engaged to be married but as things stand now, the engagement is officially broken due to irreconcilable differences and since I am having my baby soon, my Doctors has advised me to rest as my health and that of my Baby is the most important thing right now..

..Yes i am the one walking out on the pack of lies,I am not going to pretend because i want to be married,i am not desperate and i would rather swallow my pride and accept i made a big mistake than forge ahead in lies.I am sorry i cannot go into details because i do not want to trade words or run my ex down because he is the father of the child i am carrying.
